It really is odd that the state that suffered through the worst act of domestic terrorism chooses a symbol of international terrorism. Is this a blatant anti Arab statement or was the Murrah Federal Building bombing not a significant enough local event to make a state license plate?



Why the dessert Camo? Do only soldiers fight terrorism? How does this plate help in the much discussed but basically non existent Global War on Terrorism?

We're making Progress

Baghdad is Safe, 100 armed troops and 3 Blackhawk helicopters, 2 Gunships just so Joe Lieberman can shop with impunity and purchase new Sunglasses. Hopefully they won't clash with the flak vest he is wearing.

Mr. Lieberman then met with the troops for lunch, where he declared we are certainly making progress. Oddly the members of the 82nd airborne he met with just wanted to know when are we getting out? They had a list of questions the last with a star.

It is sad that the brave fighting men of this country are misrepresented by sniveling ne'er do wells like Joe Lieberman, their sacrifices deserve more as do we as a nation.

Support our Troops?

Once again the Bush administrations rhetoric doesn't match the reality -- read this and its no wonder they refuse to allow pictures of war dead being unloaded -- how would the American public react to a fork truck unloading in a warehouse as opposed to military honors-- Are we that embarrassed that we have to not only refuse to cover the return of our heroes but also deny them the rites to which they are entitled.

Congratulations to congress and Barbara Boxer for correcting a truly heinous disregard for our troops.


In an about-face by the U.S. government, America's fallen troops are being brought back to their families aboard charter jets instead of ordinary commercial flights, and the caskets are being met by honor guards in white gloves instead of baggage handlers with forklifts.
